很多人都會使用蘋果的 iCloud 服務，但你知道 iCloud 的資料都儲存在哪嗎？根據 CNET 的報導，其實 iCloud 的資訊很有可能是儲存在 Google 提供的伺服器中。包括 PayPal、Snap、Spotify 在內等公司，也都是使用 Google 雲端平台服務的客戶。
雖然早在 2016 年，就已經有報導指出蘋果正在使用 Google 提供的雲端服務，但並未得到證實；而在蘋果上個月在網站上公布的 iOS 安全文件中就證實了這件事。在之前，蘋果多年以來使用的雲端服務都是使用 Amazon 的 Web Service 以及微軟的 Azure，而在這次的文件中可以發現，蘋果對於 Google 雲端服務的使用量一直增加，已經超過了使用 Amazon 服務的數量，而微軟的 Azure 則消失在蘋果這份文件之中。
在文件中沒有提到蘋果除了利用 Google 雲端服務來儲存照片及影片外，還放了哪些數據，也沒有提到是何時開始使用 Google 服務的。另外，資訊也指出蘋果使用 Google 的雲端服務來儲存數據，而沒有跡象顯示有透過 Google 進行任何計算工作。
