蘋果於去年底發表一篇道歉聲明，為「電池老化降速」一事道歉。表示為了避免老化的電池跟不上 iPhone 的效能，進而無預警關機，蘋果採用讓 iPhone 變慢的方式來處理。近日也更新聲明，表示此降速機制並不影響非 iPhone 的其他產品。

針對日前證實為保護電池老化，進而在更新至iOS 11.2.1版本的舊款iPhone加入調降處理器運作時脈機制，藉此避免裝置因電池放電效率無法跟上而產生無預警關機等問題，蘋果再次澄清此費情況僅出現在iPhone系列機種，而不會出現在iPad或Mac系列產品。從蘋果稍早回應內容顯示，先…
