Adobe 本周上傳了一部 YouTube 影片，展示了下一代 Photoshop CC 的新功能；其中最亮眼的功能之一，就是結合了機器學習技術的「選取物件」功能（Select Object）。這功能有點像是進階版的魔術棒工具，但不只是選取顏色接近的畫面，而是直接判別並選取背景或是前景，如下圖：

這時透過「選取物件」功能，可以直接把背景的沙灘跟人分開：

在過去，如果要把前後景物分離，都必須透過各式各樣的套鎖工具、鋼筆等等，以人工方式進行。但在下一代 Photoshop CC 結合 AI 後，就可以自動判別並分離出來，對於後置減少了不少麻煩。當然，這功能並非完美無缺，像是上圖左側女生的牛仔褲就有稍微被選取到，像是動物的毛髮等等也不容易選的乾凈。儘管如此，這工具勢必還是可以節省大量時間。

目前 Adobe 尚未公布下一代 Photoshop 何時推出，這功能應該也還在改進之中。
